THIS WEEK in 1982: The Hip-Hop track that changed everything that came after it. Added to the United States National Archives of Historical Recordings.
3. WALK ON BY (single edit) by Isaac Hayes
Isaac covers the Dionne Warwick (Burt Bacharach/Hall David) classic, "Walk On By". Isaac's 1969 Long Player, Hot Buttered Soul features a twelve and a half minute version!

THIS WEEK in 2011: The expanded Deluxe 2 disc version of Arcade Fire's Grammy winning Long Player, The Suburbs features the film, "Scenes From The Suburbs" directed by Spike Jones and two bonus tracks. Ex-Talking Heads leader David Byrne sings the outro.
