THIS WEEK in 1974: The #1 Hot 100 and #1 Country hit, not to mention #1 Canada, #1 Australia, #1 France, #1 Germany, etc. etc.
3. UNION CITY BLUE by Blondie
THIS WEEK in 1972: The second single from their Long Player, Eat To The Beat.

The Beatles classic remade by Ike & Tina. From their 1971 Long Player, Working Together.

THIS WEEK in 2011: The new remastered classic Some Girls which features the bonus disc of out-takes. This Rockabilly rave up is about French singer Claudine Longet who shot and killed her Olympic skying boyfriend Vladimer "Spider" Sabich in 1977.
9. YOU CAN'T CATCH ME by Chuck Berry
THIS WEEK in 1956: The Rock 'n' Roll classic later covered by the Rolling Stones in 1965. "Here come ol' flat top."
10. I'M MOVIN' ON by Willie Nelson
THIS WEEK in 2011: The Hank Snow classic covered on Willie's brand new covers Long Player, Remember Me: Vol. 1

11. SATELLITE OF LOVE by Lou Reed
THIS WEEK in 1974: The David Bowie produced breakthrough Long Player, Transformer.
12. WHITE CLOUD by John Cale
THIS WEEK in 1970: After the break up of The Velvet Underground, this was the debut Long Player from John Cale, Vintage Violence.

The premiere episode of MTV unplugged hosted by singer-songwriter Jules Shear, featured Difford & Tilbrook from Squeeze, singer-songwriter Syd Straw, and Cars guitarist Elliot Easton.
