5. A DAY IN THE LIFE by The Beatles
The classic song written while John had the Daily Mail newspaper open on his piano stand. Reading about the autopsy report of London Swinger Rara Browne.
6. GOOD VIBRATIONS by The Beach Boys
BEST REISSUES of 2011: The legendary lost Beach Boys LP of 1967 is finally finished. The million selling #1 single, "Good Vibrations" was compiled / edited from 30 hours of recording down to 3 minutes of Pure Pop.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Carl Wilson on Dec 21st (1946)
7. Lulu by Lou Reed / Metallica
DISAPPOINTMENT #1: Intolerably bad.

8. LECH MICH IM ARSCH by Jack White / Insane Clown Posse
DISAPPOINTMENT #2: The collaboration no one wanted to see or hear. ICP rapping over Mozart. The only rational response is... "This is a joke, right? Right!?!?"

9. THE KING OF LIMBS by Radiohead
DISAPPOINTMENT #3: Not as bad as #1 and #2 but, Radiohead are better than this. The first track is unlistenable. Should have been an EP and/or Thom Yorke's 2nd solo LP.

10. BEAUTIFUL by Elvis Costello
Elvis Costello covers Christina Aguilara, from the compilation LP, House M.D. Original Television Soundtrack.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Christina on Dec 18th
11. MRS ROBINSON by Frank Sinatra
The Simon & Garfunkle hit gets a re-write from Frank, taking out the lines,  "Jesus loves you", Coo Coo Ca Choo, Joe Dimagio and adding a new verse referencing the plot of the film. From Frank's 1969 Long Player, My Way.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Frank on Dec 12th (1915)

Then one fine morning, She puts on an LA Station
You know, she don't believe what she heard at all,
She started shakin' to that fine fine music
You know her life was saved by Rock ‘n’ Roll.
