THIS WEEK in 1968: The lead single from the ground breaking Long Player, Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Written by Bob Dylan, this version came out three years prior to any Dylan recording released. New band member, Gram Parsons has a huge influence on the sound and direction of The Byrds.
