LAST WEEK in 1973: The debut 45 from Queen. It was their only single to NOT chart. But now listed at thirty-five on Rolling Stone magazines 100 Best Guitar Songs of All Time.

• SONIC HISTORY LESSON: AMAZING GRACE
The Christian hymn first published in 1779. It is unknown what music was used originally. It has been sung to many folk tunes and African spiritual's, the most famous being the the melody of "New Briton" in 1835.

The Cat Steven's classic from 1971 from the Long Player, Teaser and the Firecat. Cat Stevens converted to Islam in Dec 1977 and adopted his Muslim name, Yusef Islam.
